For the first time GLRE will be allowing vehicles other than F ord F-150 Raptors to participate. (UTVs and ATVs are not permitted except for the property support vehicles).\n\nWhat does that actually mean?\nFor Example:\n\n\n An owner of a Ford Raptor and his buddy with a Wrangler JK can now hang out at the same camp and have fun off of the track while expe riencing 2 totally different types of off-road environments.\n Vehicles of all makes will be allowed to participate!\n RamRunners\, Reapers\, Raptor s\, Built pre-runners\, Trucks with Mid/Long Travel suspension\, Buggies w ill all be able to play on the Phoenix High Speed Off-road Course.\n Trail Rigs (Jeep Wrangler/Cherokee\, Toyota FJ\, Land Rover Defender\, etc) wil l have guided trail rides.\n For those with off-road capable vehicles that are either too large to fit down most trails\, too expensive for hardcore wheeling (such as Ram Rebel/Powerwagon\, Tundra Rock Warrior\, TRD-Pro\, Nissan Pro-4X\, Z71\, Porsche Cayenne\, Volkswagen Touareg etc.) that want to get out and have some fun in the dirt\, we have you covered too! There is a “Green Trail” area wide enough for the largest vehicles and just technical enough to get your vehicle dirty and leave the owners with a sm ile.\n\nWhat is so different about The Phoenix Off-Road Park?\n\n Phoenix Off-Road Park is over 1500 acres.\n Approximately 800 vertical feet of ele vation changes\n 22 Degree hill climb\n Groomed high speed area\n Small ju mps on the high speed course\n Technical trails\n Green trails\n Amazing v antage points to see the high speed track\n Grassy Vendor area\n Freshly b uilt pit area\n Food Vendors\n Night Driving *Aux lighting is a must\n Mas sive Bonfire\n Onsite rustic camping\n Great hotels within 5 miles\n Taco Bell… and many other fine restaurants\n\nThe property will be separated into 2 types.\n\n Closed course high speed- This off-road track is purpose built with jumps\, banks\, short climbs and fast straights and has proven to be fun in everything from a stock Ford F-150 Raptor to fully built pre -runners.\n Guided Trail rides- Approx. 10 miles of trails with technical areas as well as open "green" trails capable of supporting larger vehicles and those with relatively limited factory suspensions.\n\nPrerequisites t o run on the High Speed Course\n\n Vehicles with extended travel suspensio n\, (Ford Raptors\, Chevy Reapers\, Dodge RamRunners\, Mid-Travel Trucks\, Built Pre-runners\, Buggies\, Etc.)\n More than 10” of suspension trave l is preferred\n Snell 2000 or newer Helmets are required for Driver & \; Passengers\n\nSCHEDULE\nFriday (5/20/2016)\n\n2000-2300:\n\n Bonfire\n Live Music\n Charity Rides on the high speed course in some of the Highest Modified Ford Raptors in the Country\n\n\nSaturday (5/21/2016)\n\n 0830-0 930-Registration: Placards\, event shirts\, etc\n 0900: Mandatory driver ’s meeting with GLRE Staff\n 0930-1830: Track &\; Trails Open\n 1830- 1930: Dinner break\n\nNight Run\n\n 2000-2359: Track &\; Trails Open\nA pproximately 2000 there will be paced recon lap lead by GLRE Support Staff on the Havoc Course\nGuided trail rides will begin at 2000. This is one o f the rare time to be able to wheel at night.\n\nNOTE: Auxiliary Off-Road Lighting is required to participate in the night run!\nSunday (5/22/2016) \n\n 0900: Mandatory driver’s meeting with GLRE Staff\n 0930-1300: Track &\; Trails open from 0930-1230\n 1330: Charity Raffle Raffle benefiti ng The Breast Cancer Research Foundation\n\n\nThe Phoenix Open Rules\n\n 1 00% Sober Driving.\n Alcohol consumption will not be tolerated on trails o r any time you are driving. Remember the track is private property.\n Ille gal drug use will not be tolerated. Same as alcohol consumption\n Do not t ailgate\n No littering\, leave the track in better condition than you arri ved\n Know the limitations of your driving ability and your vehicle in the conditions.\n No whiners!\n Everyone in your vehicle must have a filled o ut GLRE waiver. NO Exceptions! You will not be allowed to participate with out everyone having a completed waiver.\n Helmets are required for all pas sengers on the Havoc Track\n\nRequired Items\n\n A Good Attitude\n All mai ntenance up to date and no major issues\n Tires in good condition\n Spare tire and tire plug/patch kit. Spare can be located under truck\n Snell 200 0 or newer Helmets MUST be worn by ALL vehicles occupants while using th e Havoc Track\n Tow strap at least 20’ and rated to pull 3 times the veh icle weight and 2 D rings\n Close toed shoes: No sandals\n Outdoor clothin g: This event is rain or shine so like above have the appropriate clothing for the weather conditions.\n\nRecommended Additional Items\n\n You do no t need a Co-pilot but it is recommended to help with communication traffic and navigating the trails.
